Dirleton Village School Football Club is based in the village of Dirleton, East Lothian, Scotland. The club exists to provide football coaching and development to all children attending Dirleton Village School and other other local children.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
Specific aims and objectives are to:
Provide football coaching and development to local children of primary school age.
Develop playing skills of all participating children.
Develop an appreciation of teamworking skills.
Provide a positive and safe environment in which to play developmental football.
Provide an environment in which children can develop their footballing ability and appreciation of the game, including competition but without an undue emphasis on winning.
TRAINING SESSIONS
Training sessions take place on Dirleton Village Green most Saturdays during school terms from 9 until 10am. All children attending the school are welcome to attend along with other local childen of primary school age. Normal football kit should be worn according to the time of year with more layers rather than less as necessary depending on time of year.
